Teshie-Nungua “Dumsor” Timetable: ECG Announces 4-Day Power Outages from April 27–30 [Full List of Areas]
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released a detailed timetable for planned power interruptions affecting the Teshie-Nungua enclave. The outages are necessary for a major upgrade at the Teshie-Nungua Primary Substation, where engineers will replace an existing 20/26 MVA transformer with a higher-capacity 30/39 MVA unit.
The project is scheduled to run for four days, from Monday, April 27, to Thursday, April 30, 2026.
The Affected Areas
Residents and business owners in the following zones should prepare for phased interruptions:

Residential Estates: Grada Estates, Manet Court Estates, Century Road, and Crescent Estates.

Communities: Teshie Zongo, Tsui Bleoo, Abolebu, Okpoi Gonno, Agblezaa, and parts of Nungua.

Key Institutions: LEKMA Hospital enclave, Teshie Police Station, Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LEKMA), and the Teshie Cluster of Schools.

Commercial Hubs: International China Mall vicinity, Maami Beach, and the Teshie Cemetery area.
The Rotational Schedule (Groups A–E)
Outages will be implemented in groups, with each session lasting between five and six hours.

Monday, April 27: Phased outages starting from 9:00 AM and running through to midnight.

Tuesday, April 28: A full 24-hour cycle of rotations (Midnight–6:00 AM, 6:00 AM–Midday, Midday–6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM–Midnight).

Wednesday & Thursday: Final installation phases and rotations as engineers complete the transformer swap.
