Bongo Ideas Alleges Showboy Threatened Him Over Dada Joe Report, Appeals to Ghana Police
Popular Ghanaian blogger Bongo Ideas has alleged that musician Showboy threatened to harm him in a series of Snapchat direct messages following his reports on the legal case involving socialite Dada Joe.
In a Facebook post, Bongo Ideas claimed the threats came after he published what he described as factual information about Dada Joe’s case, including reports that the socialite’s Range Rover could be seized as part of legal proceedings.
Sharing screenshots of the alleged conversation, Bongo Ideas wrote:Showboy is in my DM on Snapchat threatening to harm me cos I reported a factual news about Dada Joe’s case and the fact his Range Rover will be seized. Over to you @GhanaPolice.”
The screenshots appear to show messages from an account identified as Showboy, including statements such as, “I will personally mess u up” and “I will shoot u and kill u.” ChatGPT cannot independently verify the authenticity of the screenshots or whether the messages were sent by Showboy.
The blogger has called on the Ghana Police Service to take notice of the alleged threats and investigate the matter.
As of the time of writing, Showboy has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the Ghana Police Service has not issued any statement regarding the claims.
