The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a series of planned maintenance works scheduled for today, Sunday, March 15, 2026. This exercise is part of the company’s efforts to improve the reliability of the power network across several regions.

Affected Areas
Engineering teams have already been mobilized to repair faults and upgrade equipment in various locations. Residents in parts of Accra, Kumasi, and the Central Region may experience intermittent outages between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. ECG has assured customers that normal supply will be restored as soon as the works are completed.

Safety Precautions
The company advises the public to treat all electrical installations as “live” during this period, as power may be restored without prior notice. If you are experiencing an outage outside of the planned maintenance areas, ECG encourages you to report it via their dedicated contact center at 0302 611611 or through their official social media handles.

Other Sunday Highlights
While some deal with power issues, sports fans are heading to the Cape Coast Stadium for a massive double-header. Dreams FC will face Heart of Lions at 3:00 PM, while Medeama SC takes on Attram De Visser at 7:00 PM in the MTN FA Cup Quarter-Finals.
