ACCRA, Ghana – Renowned Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has issued a chilling public warning, holding his former record label, Ground Up Chale, responsible for his safety following a heated legal and financial standoff.
In a series of posts shared on X (formerly Twitter) this morning, January 22, 2026, the “Grind Day” hitmaker alleged that the label’s CEO, Glen Boateng, is demanding US$150,000 for the rapper to use his own images for an upcoming independent project.
